Council announce road closures in Mayo town
A temporary road closure will be in place.
Mayo County Council wishes to advise road users that part of the N59 Crossmolina Road in Ballina will be temporarily closed while Sweeney's Lane will also be closed
The closures are to facilitate cable duct laying works associated with the North Connaught 110kV Interconnector Project.
The proposed closure will affect a section of the N59 Crossmolina Road between Gurteen Roundabout and Fenian Row.
The closure will be in place from Monday, October 12 to Saturday, October 17 and will occur between the hours of 6pm and 4am.
The L5114 Sweeneys Lane Road in Ballina will also be temporarily closed.
The proposed closure will affect the full length of Sweeneys lane between the N59 Crossmolina Road and the L5113 Commons Road. The road will be closed from Monday October 12 to Friday, November 20.
