Congratulations: Mayo native earns success at Fleadh Cheoil 2025

Congratulations to Michael McHale on winning 1st place in the Tin Whistle Slow-Air U12 competition in the All-Ireland Fleadh Ceoil na hÉireann last weekend in Wexford. Michael is a member of Admiral Brown CCE in Foxford.

Congratulations to Michael McHale, Carravaneen, Knockmore, who won first place in the Tin Whistle Slow-Air U12 competition at Fleadh Cheoil 2025 held in Wexford last week. 

Congratulations also to Sean Holmes, Ballinaslava, Knockmor,e who came second in the Mouth-Organ U12 competition. 

Both boys received a great home coming welcome at Brogans, Knockmore, where family, friends and neighbours gathered to congratulate the boys on their great achievement. 

Both boys contribute to the music at weekend Masses in the parish, where their talent is much appreciated.
