Alert: Warning notices in place for popular Mayo beaches

Prior warning notices have been issued today for a number of bathing waters in Mayo, due to forecast heavy rainfall and possible impact on bathing water quality. 

Bathing waters affected include the following:

Westport Area: Carrowmore Beach & Clare Island Beach 

Ballina Area: Ballycastle Beach
