Alert: Warning issued for popular Mayo public area

Mayo County Council has issued a Bathing Prohibition/Do Not Swim notice for The Point Westport.

This is due to deterioration in bathing water quality. 

The county council say the notice will remain in place until water testing has been undertaken and that further updates will be provided in due course.
