ALERT: New weather warning issued for Mayo

A Status Yellow Wind warning has been issued for Ireland.

The weather warning will take effect from midnight until 6pm tomorrow (Thursday, March 12).

Met Éireann has stated that there will be strong and gusty southwesterly winds.

Potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions, debris or loose objects displaced, and some fallen branches or trees.
