ALERT: Motorists advised of Mayo road closure for number of weeks
The temporary road closure, which is intended to take place from 8am on Monday the 30th of September to 5pm on Friday 18th of October 2024, is to facilitate the laying of a new section of water main.
Mayo County Council has advised motorists that they intend to temporarily close the Lankill Road L-2805, from its junction with the L-2804 (Carrowbaun Road) to its junction with the L-6810 (Lankill to Sandyhill Road) for a distance of 260m.
The temporary road closure, which is intended to take place from 8am on Monday the 30th of September to 5pm on Friday 18th of October 2024, is to facilitate the laying of a new section of water main.
Diversion routes will be L-6810 (Lankill to Sandyhill Road) / L-2804 (Sandyhill Carrowbaun Road).
Any objections or observations regarding the proposed temporary closures may be submitted in writing to the county council, no later than 4pm on Wednesday the 4th of September 2024.
