Alert: Mayo road to temporarily close for a number of weeks
The closure, which is scheduled to take place from Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 18, is to facilitate the laying of a new section of watermain.
Mayo County Council has advised motorists that the Lankill Road L-2805, from its junction with the L-2804 (Carrowbaun Road) to its junction with the L-6810 (Lankill to Sandyhill Road) will be temporarily closed for a distance of 260m.
The closure, which is scheduled to take place from Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 18, is to facilitate the laying of a new section of watermain.
Diversion routes will be in place.
