Alert: Major Mayo road to temporarily close for up to five nights
The county council say diversions will be clearly signposted and emergency access will be maintained.
Mayo County Council has advised motorists that the N5 Dual Carriageway (Westport to Turlough) will be closed for up to five nights (between 7pm and 6am) from September 16th to September 27th.
This temporary closure will facilitate grass cutting to verges.
