ALERT: Further weather warning issued for Mayo ahead of Storm Amy's arrival

A further weather warning for Mayo has been issued by Met Éireann ahead of the arrival of Storm Amy tomorrow.

Along with the Status Orange Wind warning, which will be in place from 2pm on Friday until 10pm, there will be a Status Yellow Wind warning valid from midnight on Friday until midday on Saturday.

Storm Amy will bring very windy conditions, with impacts including fallen trees, damage to power lines and very difficult travelling conditions.
A Status Yellow Rain warning is also currently in place for Mayo until 8pm this evening.
