Alert: 'Do Not Swim' warning issued for popular Mayo beach
The county council say that the notice will remain in place until water testing has been undertaken.
Mayo County Council has advised the public that a Bathing Prohibition/Do Not Swim has been issued for Old Head Beach, Louisburgh.
This is due to deterioration in bathing water quality.
