ALERT: 'Do Not Swim' advice issued for popular Mayo beach

An advice of 'Not to Swim' has been issued for Keem Beach, Achill, yesterday (Thursday, August 28) until further notice. 

This is due to the water quality following heavy rainfall.

Resampling is taking place, and an update will be given once results have been received.

⚠️ Prior Warnings have also been issued for the following bathing areas:
• Shore Road, Belmullet
• Carrowmore Beach, Louisburgh
• Dugort Beach Achill
