ALERT: Busy Mayo road to close for two hours today

The N59 between Bangor and Bellacorick at Ballymunnelly will be closed to traffic from 2pm, Monday, October 6th, for a two-hour period to facilitate the recovery of a lorry.

Traffic travelling between Belmullet and Ballina are advised to use the R314 through Ballycastle, while traffic travelling from Castlebar are advised to use the N59 through Newport to Mulranny and Bangor.

Mayo County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
