A spot of tea and a spoonful of hope
Niamh O'Connor, Caragh Ryan and Annie Morrin who raised an impressive amount for Western Alzheimers by hosting a Tea Day.
A trio from Kilmeena – Caragh Ryan, Niamh O’Connor, and Annie Morrin – hosted a very special Tea Day at Kilmeena Community Centre to raise funds for Western Alzheimers.
The event was met with great community support, with many attending to show their backing. Local businesses generously contributed spot prizes, while community members baked a variety of delicious treats. Talented local musicians provided beautiful music throughout the day, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
Thanks to the generosity of the Kilmeena community, as well as online donations, a total of €2,386 was raised for Western Alzheimers. The organisers would like to express their gratitude for the incredible support and kindness demonstrated by all involved, highlighting the community’s caring and united spirit.
