Mayo FC name manager to lead club forward in new FAI National League

Mayo FC have been confirmed as one of the founding clubs that will form the new FAI National League, set to kick off in late 2026.
The FAI have said the historic new third tier of Irish football aims to be the top tier of grassroots football and will create a direct pathway between the grassroots game and the League of Ireland for the first time.
Today, Mayo FC have announced their senior manager, who will lead them forward.
Anthony O'Neill, who has previous experience with the Mayo FC and Galway United academy systems, has been named as the new boss. O'Neill has also been the senior manager at Westport United.
