Man dies following motorcycle crash in Co Wicklow

A man in his 20s has died following a motorcycle crash in Co Wicklow.

The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries in the single-vehicle crash at around 6.30pm at Tombreane in Carnew.

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A technical examination of the scene has been conducted by Garda forensic collision investigators.

Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
