Temperatures are set to fall as low as -3C in parts of Mayo on Tuesday night as the cold snap continues to bite. Met Éireann said conditions will be dry overnight but it will still remain very cold as skies clear and easterly winds veer northeasterly.

Clare, Galway and Mayo have been issued an orange wind warning for Sunday by Met Éireann. Storm Fergus is set to bring very strong onshore winds, coupled with high waves, high tides and possible localised coastal flooding.
