Nissan’s Micra is returning to Irish roads as a compact electric vehicle.
Nissan’s Micra is returning to Irish roads as a compact electric vehicle (EV) with a top range of 416kms and a start price of €25,995.
This is the sixth generation of the iconic car which first hit Irish roads over 40 years ago. Two battery options are a 40kWh with a range of up to 317kms, and a 54kWh battery with a 416km range. Both variants support DC fast-charging up to 80kW and 110kW respectively.
Three grades are offered - Engage, Advance and Evolve - the latter only available with the 52kWh battery and priced from €32,995. Prices include the SEAI grant of €3,500 but exclude delivery-related charges.
Meanwhile, Aston Martin has introduced the DB12 S, which it says is the boldest evolution of the original Super Tourer DB12 S.
The DB 12 S is the most powerful front-engined, V8-powered, non-hybrid model in its class, unleashing 700ps and 800Nm of torque, and capable of 0-100km/h in a blistering 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 202mph.
Features include faster shift times, standard-fit carbon ceramic brakes, and a suite of chassis refinements and aerodynamic enhancements that combine to elevate the car's dynamic character to a whole new level.
