Save on Nissan EVs with scrappage deal

Nissan have some great offers under the new scrappage scheme.

Nissan are advising EV buyers to save up to €12,500 on the cost of buying a brand-new Nissan Ariya if they move quickly to cash in on the Government’s new ‘ICE2EV’ scrappage scheme when it opens for applications on July 1st, writes Trish Whelan.

Drivers with petrol or diesel cars registered in 2013, or earlier, automatically qualify for the new scrappage scheme due to operate on a first come, first served basis for a limited period.

Fast movers will receive €5,000 scrappage and a grant of €3,500 towards the cost of buying a new EV. This total can be combined with Nissan’s current ‘€4k Your Way’ offer to knock €12,500 off the cost of buying a new Nissan Ariya, meaning buyers can purchase the car from just €30,995, or use the €8,500 grant across Nissan’s EV range including the new Micra available from €20,995.

Nissan dealers are taking pre-orders for the new crossover Nissan LEAF with a range of 622kms and available from €29,995 as part of the new EV scrappage scheme.
