Cadillac to open dealership in Ireland
Cadillac, part of the General Motors Group, have been selling electric cars in Europe since 2023.
Premium US carmaker and global car icon Cadillac is partnering with Charles Hurst Group to open Ireland’s first wholly exclusive Cadillac dealership in south Dublin in a €1 million investment, bringing the brand to Irish customers for the first time as part of its accelerated drive across Europe.
The outlet will only feature electric models. The investment will include specialist Cadillac training for all new employees.
The Lyric and Vistiq models were showcased at the recent NEVO EV Motor Show in Dublin. A third model, the Optic, will follow next year.
Cadillac, part of the General Motors Group, have been selling electric cars in Europe since 2023.
The Lyric is a 550hp SUV with a rated range of around 530km.
The new dealership, in south Dublin, will open in 2026.
Meanwhile, new Mazda6e has achieved a maximum five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP in its recent series of tests.
In the two categories of Adult Occupant and Child Occupant protection, it scored 93%.
The Mazda6e was also rated 74% for the protection of vulnerable road users and 77% for its safety assist systems.
