Crossmolina picked up six wins from 18 games in their first season back in the Super League last season but will have been disappointed to finish just one place above relegation. The club said that Duffy is the man they hope will bring them forwards.
“Mick comes to Crossmolina with a wealth of both coaching and playing experience; having won the Super League, as well as several other cups & titles, during a previous managerial stint, whilst also being one of that Mayo's most potent strikers in his day.”
“Having liaised with Mick over the past few weeks, we both share the same vision and vibe for our club.”
Duffy, who has also been involved with the management of Sligo Rovers U19, Mayo’s Oscar Traynor setup and Moy Villa, took his hometown club Ballina Town to the title in 2018 and also won three Super Cup titles.
