The Ballina Fringe Festival is delighted to announce its upcoming Contemporary Art Fair, taking place from February 26 to 28, bringing together an exciting showcase of work by talented local and regional artists.
Following a highly successful fair last year, the art fair takes its place again this year as an important fundraiser for Ballina Fringe Festival. All artworks will be sold on a 50/50 basis, with 50% of proceeds going to the artist and 50% supporting the Ballina Fringe Festival’s programme of events and community initiatives.
The Festival team has expressed deep gratitude to the artists who have stepped forward.
“We are immensely thankful to the artists who have shown such generosity and belief in Ballina Fringe Festival. Their willingness to share their incredibly creative and talented work in support of this fundraiser speaks volumes about the strength and spirit of our artistic community.”
Visitors can expect a diverse and compelling range of contemporary work, offering something for seasoned collectors and first-time buyers alike. Whether you’re looking to invest in a statement piece or simply soak up the atmosphere, the Art Fair promises an inspiring cultural experience.
The Festival is calling on art lovers, supporters, and the wider community to come out, explore the exhibition, support local artists and back the continued development of Ballina’s thriving arts scene.
Ballina Contemporary Art Fair takes place at Ballina Civic Offices from February 26 to 28, with a special opening night celebration from 7pm on February 26, which will be a chance to meet artists, connect with fellow arts enthusiasts and enjoy a lively evening of creativity and conversation.
This fundraiser plays a crucial role in sustaining the Ballina Fringe Festival’s year-round work, championing the arts in our region, as well as equality, diversity, inclusion and community participation in the arts.
