The late John Loftus

The sudden illness and passing of John Loftus, Ballina Road, Foxford, which took place on Monday, November 11, has left family, relatives and friends deeply saddened. John was a much loved brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

John’s remains reposed at Clarkes Funeral Home on the following Friday evening with his 11am. Requiem Mass was celebrated in Christ the King Church, Knockmore, on the Saturday morning and he was laid to rest afterwards in Craggagh Cemetery. John was remembered during the past days as a quiet unassuming man who was highly thought of by his former colleagues in O’Hara’s Bakery and by his many neighbours and friends who all shared their own special memories of him.

John was pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, his infant sister Bridget and nephew Gerard and is survived by his brother Pat and sister Mary, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephew and nieces, grandnephew, neighbours and friends. May John now rest in peace.
