Many students progress to other instruments including the fiddle, button accordion, flute and banjo. They have weekly music lessons each Tuesday morning with an external music teacher and each school day starts with music practice. The pupils love to showcase their musical talents at every opportunity including playing at the School Christmas concert, busking for charity and taking part in the Enniscrone St Patrick’s Day Parade.
