Knockmore

Memories of Kevin Breslin

Many memories were recalled and tributes paid by family members to the late Kevin Breslin, Watford and late of Corroy at his Memorial Mass in Knockmore Church on Saturday last, August 23rd, where family members, relatives neighbours and friends gathered to pay him their final respects.

Kevin was son of the late John and Margaret Breslin (nee Browne) and was a member of a family of six. He was on the staff of Bord na Móna prior to moving in his early twenties to Kilburn in London and later to Watford. He worked in construction and later in transport for many years and was always highly thought of by his colleagues.

Kevin never forgot his native Corroy and returned annually to keep in touch with family siblings, nephews and nieces.

His final wish was granted when he was laid to rest following his Memorial Mass in the family plot in Cloghans Cemetery.

Predeceased by his parents, sisters Breedge (Dundalk) and Mary (Browne, Ballina), brothers Sean (London) and Mark (Corroy), he is survived by his sister Sheila Murphy, Castlebar and his sister-in-law Ann Breslin, Corroy, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, relatives and many friends to whom we extend our deepest sympathy.

May he now rest in peace.
