This year, they are taking on the challenge again and doubling the distance all in aid of North West STOP-Suicide Prevention.
North West STOP-Suicide Prevention provides vital free counselling services here in Erris twice weekly. Recent feedback shows that the demand for this service is only growing and they are delighted to support Lauren's friends and family as they take on this challenge in Lauren's memory and in aid of such an important cause.

Patrick Coyle was next up. Patrick put on a great display of boxing and was dominant throughout to come away with a unanimous win against Aglish Boxing Club. Last but not least there was Chloe Coyle. Again Chloe put on a dominant performance to come away with a unanimous win against a tough opponent from Ardagh-Crossmolina Boxing Club. Well done to Ballyglass RNLI Lifeboat and Ballyglass Coast Guard Search and Drone Unit who collaborated recently on a very worthwhile training exercise.
The all-important training that both teams undergo respectively was put into practice when they came together to carry out search and rescue, casualty care, team coordination and many other manoeuvres.
It is vital that they have the opportunity to train together so they are best prepared in the event of a real emergency.
