Officers of Ardagh GAA club continue with their ongoing development plans. The club recently installed an electric scoreboard and carried out comprehensive surface work to both pitches. Plans are currently well advanced to commence construction on a new gymnasium which, when completed, will be fitted with the most modern gym equipment. A walkway was laid straddling both pitches which greatly benefits the wellbeing of all those who use it. For a nominal €20 annual membership the general public can have full access to the walkway seven days a week. Those with full annual club membership can access the walkway free of charge. It is envisaged that lighting will be installed in due course on the walkway for use during the winter months. When installed this facility could be utilised during the winter thus adding a further boost to the wellbeing of its users. The club continues to fundraise for its ongoing development and any individual or business proprietor who would like to donate or sponsor the club in any guise may contact any club officer or committee member.
