Crossmolina Men’s Shed presenting ‘Nest Boxes’ to ICA members Anne Gallagher, Geraldine O’Malley, Maureen Mulligan and Noreen Flanagan. The nest boxes have been distributed locally. This biodiversity-networking initiative was funded by Oweninny Wind Farm.

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night, March 7, in Hiney’s Bar, when the numbers drawn were 3, 17, 27 and 31. Two punters matched three numbers Patrick Hegarty, Ballina St., Crossmolina; and Martin Barrett, Mullenmore St, Crossmolina, and they won €75 each. The jackpot in the latest draw held on March 14, was €4,350.

The annual afternoon of prayer in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Knock, will be held on Sunday, March 22 from 3 to 6pm. Moygownagh GAA annual 25 Drive will be held on Good Friday, April 3, in Moygownagh Community Centre with €1000 in prizemoney.

Ardagh Community Players are to be commended on their magnificent production of ‘The Sorcerer's Tale’ which was staged in Ardagh Community Centre last weekend. The play was completely sold out for its two night run. The drama was superbly executed by all cast members and the audiences on both nights were treated to excellent stage performances throughout. All involved with the production can justifiably feel proud of their collective efforts both on stage and backstage.
Everything is in readiness for Ardagh GAA Club's novel fundraiser, "The Selectors", which takes place in the Cot and Cobble, Ballina, this Saturday night, March 21, commencing at 8pm. The fundraiser is aimed at raising funds for their ongoing gymnasium development which is currently nearing completion.
