Ardagh
The death took place last week of Mary O'Hora, Cloonbrone, Knockanillaun and formerly of Derryronane, Swinford.
Mary will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband Tom, sons Damian and Tom, grandchildren Owen, Lauran, Isabelle, Amy, Emma and Ava, daughters-in-law Kathleen and Patricia, sisters Teresa (Moore) Swinford, Margaret (Hennigan) Castleconnor, brothers Padraig (Swinford), Anthony (Swinford), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large number of friends.
Mary possessed a very warm, cordial and affable nature which endeared her to all who had the pleasure of ever meeting her. She had a deep and practising faith and had a passionate love for her garden which was always a seamless bloom of colour and beauty.
Along with her husband Tom, Mary was a treasured and much loved member of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association for fifty years.
She was held in very high esteem throughout the community and beyond and this was reflected in the huge attendance at her obsequies at Hiney's Funeral Home, Crossmolina, and at Requiem Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Ardagh, followed by her burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
