Please note change of times for the Cèide Coast Community Garden Festival - Feile na Garraí - on Sunday, 26th July. It will now take place from 10am to 3pm.
Join us on the day to explore our Community Garden, meet the gardening volunteers, see firsthand the work being done to grow fresh produce, whilst supporting biodiversity in a meaningful space, bridging the divide between people of all ages in a healthy and happy environment.
Do come along on the day and support this community event, there is something for everyone. Refreshments served.
The death occurred on Sunday, July 12, of Philomena Healy Scott, Healy's Pub, Main Street, Ballycastle and Sea Road, Ballycastle.
She was predeceased by her sisters Teresa, Mary and Sally, brothers Michael Thomas, John and Anthony, husband Vinny and nephew Brian.
Sympathy is extended to her daughter Mary, husband Eddie, sister Margaret, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Healy's Bar staff and customers, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.

Ardagh
A new defibrillator has been installed at Ardagh Community Centre (Eircode F26 W521).
This is a very significant development and gratitude must be extended to Ardagh Social Services and the original 25 card game group who have all contributed to its installation. The project also received National Lottery funding.
The defibrillator is now fully accessible 24/7 and is located outside the centre. Ardagh Social Services are very grateful for all the assistance they have received for the project.
Ardagh Summer 25 Card Game in the main hall of Ardagh Community Centre on Sunday, August 2, at 8.30pm. There is €500 in prizes. Hot food and refreshments served. €10 payable on the door. All are welcome.
Activities held in Ardagh Community Centre on a weekly basis include 25 card games every Sunday night, commencing at 9pm in the upstairs room, and bingo every Saturday night at 8pm.

Ardagh B recorded a fine victory over Ballyhaunis B in round 4 of the Mayo Junior C Football Championship last week. Ardagh won on a scoreline of 4-12 to 2-10.
Social dancing returns to Ardagh Community Centre next Sunday, July 26, with Gerry Carney from 8 to 10pm. All are welcome. €10 payable on the door.
A great evening's entertainment is guaranteed.

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night, July 11, when the numbers drawn were 1, 2, 3 and 24.
One ticket match three numbers - Enda and Carmel Hiney, Church St, Crossmolina, who won the €150 prize.
The draw took place in Hiney’s Bar.

The children's choir appeals to any child who would like to play a role in their monthly church liturgy to sit in the company of the choir. This will enable other roles, other than singing or music, to be assigned to a child such as Prayers of the Faithful, Readings, bringing up of the Offertory Gifts, etc.

A new Bonniconlon Biodiversity Group has recently been established under the umbrella of the Community Council.
As part of its development, they would welcome ideas, suggestions, or proposals from local groups and organisations that may help shape future biodiversity projects or community-led environmental actions in the area. They would also like to invite expressions of support from established community groups who may wish to support this initiative.
