By all accounts and judging by the post-event reaction last week's magnificent "Selectors" fundraiser in aid of Ardagh GAA Club held in the Cot and Cobble, Ballina, proved an outstanding success. The professionalism of the production gives credit to the time, effort and attention to detail that went into its production, and this couldn't have happened without the backroom team comprising Grainne, Colm, Carmel, Jack, Sean and Brendan for putting on the spectacular event. Of course, it would not have been possible either without the fifteen players, who signed up to the unknown, all of whom filled the room with laughter with their individual and excellent performances. To all the generous sponsors and everyone who supported the event including the staff and management of the Cot and Cobble a huge thank you. Grainne and Colm and all involved deserve huge credit.
