On Monday, September 30, the Ballinrobe Community School boys’ team recorded a marvellous 1-13 to 1-10 victory at home to Rice College Westport, in the first round of the Junior (A) Championship. The Monday Walks group met on Monday, September 30, at 7pm at the Key West and a group of 16 walked the Cornanool loop, and returned to some lovely refreshments in the Key West. The group thank Gary Walsh, Kate and Breege Carney for organising same. The group are happy to announce that this was their 18th walk, over the summer months, having started on June 3, the group organised 18 walks over approx 13 different routes and were joined by many different people along the way.
