Day Care Services to resume in West Sligo.

Cllr Dara Mulvey received the following response from the HSE in relation to Day Care Services in West Sligo. ‘Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Easkey Social Day Centre operated from Monday to Thursday each week, while Enniscrone Social Day Centre operated on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week. However, due to staff vacancies, the operation of Easkey Social Day Centre was reduced to Wednesday and Thursday each week, while the operation of Enniscrone Social Day Centre was reduced to Monday and Tuesday each week. A HSE recruitment campaign for Easkey and Enniscrone Social Day Centres has now been completed. The HSE is currently reviewing how many additional service users wish to avail of the service and the additional associated costs, with a view to being fully operational at pre-pandemic levels by the middle of September 2023’.
