Ballina is set to sparkle as The Jackie Clarke Collection ushers in the festive season with its much-loved Countdown to Christmas celebration on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, from 2pm to 5pm. This annual event has become a cherished tradition for families and visitors, offering an afternoon filled with wonder, creativity, and community spirit.

This year’s festivities are packed with magical moments. Children will have the chance to enjoy a free meet-and-greet with Mrs. Claus, including a special sensory-friendly hour for those who prefer a quieter experience. A festive treasure hunt will encourage families to explore the town in search of clues, with answers revealed later in the day. Meanwhile, the Mini Mistletoe Market will showcase local crafters and seasonal stalls, perfect for finding unique gifts and supporting local makers.

Visitors can also meet Buddy the Elf, enjoy a Christmas film screening, and soak up the festive atmosphere soundtracked by DJ Pat Boyle, who will be spinning favourite holiday tunes. A highlight of the afternoon will be the unveiling of the 9ft ‘Knitmass’ Tree at 4:45pm.

And of course, the magic wouldn’t be complete without a special surprise visitor from the North Pole, set to arrive at around 4:30pm to officially light up the Sleeping Winter Garden.

With activities designed for all ages and an atmosphere rich in seasonal cheer, The Jackie Clarke Collection’s Countdown to Christmas promises to be a joyful start to the festive season in Ballina. Mark your calendar and step into the magic.
