Mulranny Arts is delighted to announce a special celebration marking the completion of its new Metals and Jewellery Studio, the latest milestone in the Art School and Retreat Centre's ongoing development in Mulranny.

The celebration will take place on Sunday, June 21, at 2pm, bringing together invited guests, supporters and friends of Mulranny Arts and will mark an important step in the continued growth of the organisation as a nationally recognised centre for creativity, learning and cultural exchange. The gathering represents the beginning of a broader programme of celebrations that will culminate later this year with the official opening of Mulranny Arts' new facilities.

Mulranny Arts is particularly honoured that internationally acclaimed Mayo master goldsmith and artist Nigel O'Reilly will join the celebration. Recognised as one of Ireland's foremost jewellery artists, O'Reilly has achieved international acclaim through a series of groundbreaking milestones, becoming the first Irish goldsmith to be featured by renowned international institutions and luxury retailers including Sotheby's New York and Bergdorf Goodman. His award-winning work has been exhibited and collected internationally, establishing him as one of the most significant contemporary jewellery makers working in Ireland today.

"This new studio represents another exciting chapter in the evolution of Mulranny Arts," said Cheryl Cobern Browne, director and founder of Mulranny Arts. "We are creating opportunities for artists, makers and learners to develop their skills in world-class facilities here on the Wild Atlantic Way. To have Nigel O'Reilly with us to mark this occasion is a tremendous honour and highlights the growing importance of creative practice and craftsmanship in Mayo and throughout Ireland."

Further announcements regarding the official opening celebrations and the future vision for Mulranny Arts will be made in the coming months.
