Chase away the winter blues with laughter at Ballina Arts Centre this spring.
Between January and March, there is a fantastic and varied line up of stand-up comedy and theatrical farce which is bound to tickle every kind of funny bone.
Among the nationally acclaimed comics coming to the centre are Pat Shortt, David McSavage and Anne Gildea, and for those with prefer their comedy with a more theatrical bent there two popular and well-known farces on the programme: Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, and Tommy Marren’s Matches and Old Flames.
The Windmill Players production of this Noel Coward classic farce Blithe Spirit will run on January 24 and 25th and Tommy Marrens hilarious comedy Matches and Old Flames will return to the centre for a third run on January 31st and February 1st.
Anne Gildea, the woman who taught us ‘How to get the Menopause and Enjoy It’, arrives with her new show 'Further Adventures in Womaning' on February 22nd. David McSavage is back on March 7th with McSavage Rules, his irreverent take on how to live with integrity, while on March 14th the father and daughter duo, Pat and Fey Shortt, return with their slick comedy show.
