Charity fashion show to be held in The Lodge at Ashford Castle

The members of Moytura Hurling Club will down their hurls for a night for their upcoming fashion show, taking place at The Lodge at Ashford Castle on Saturday, October 11th. This exciting event will combine the world of high fashion with a heartwarming purpose, raising funds to support Pancreatic Cancer Ireland and the hurling club.
The fashion show will feature a curated line-up of local designers, boutiques, and fashion influencers, showcasing their latest collections on the runway. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable evening of style, elegance, and philanthropy, all while supporting a cause that makes a lasting impact in the community.
“We are beyond excited that our main sponsor,The Lodge at Ashford Castle, are hosting the club's first charity fashion show in their outstanding venue,” said Moytura Hurling Club chairperson Sean McGahon. “This event is not only a celebration of fashion, but also a way to bring together people who are passionate about making a difference. The funds raised will go directly towards the Moytura Hurling Club future plans and our charity of choice, Pancreatic Cancer Ireland.
Event highlights include a runway show featuring stunning designs from Mrs Tea's, Galway Woolen Mills, The Pink Hat, Harper, Nelly, Fusion Fashion, Standun, GM Designwear, Canella Lane, Complete the Look and Ken Murphy Menswear. There will be live entertainment with special performance by James Biggins, a VIP Prosecco reception with celebrities, influencers, and community leaders, and raffle prizes donated by local businesses and partners.
“We believe that fashion has the power to make a statement, not just in style, but the funding this show will generate will help change the quality of what we can offer our club members and the charity chosen,” said club treasurer Laura Murphy.
