Athletics: The Westnet Mayo U9 and U10 Track and Field Championships took place in Ballinrobe on March 2. Many of the athletes took part for the first time in a competition and the joy on their faces was great to see, with focus now turning towards the Connacht Championships in April. Lake District Athletic Club were excellent hosts, with thanks extended also to all the officials and parents who helped out to ensure the smooth running of the event.
