The Lake County had 13 different scorers as they secured the Delaney Cup for the first time since 2004.

Armagh have ended their 18-year wait to be crowned Ulster Football champions.

After losing the last three finals, Kieran McGeeney's team have their hands on the Anglo-Celt Cup following an extra-time win over Monaghan at Clones.

Oisín O’Neill and Tiernan Kelly scored the goals in a 2-28 to 25-points victory.

Limerick have sealed a place in the knock-out stages of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship.

Goals from Gearoid Hegarty and Peter Casey proved crucial as they beat Waterford by 2-29 to 2-20.

The defeat ends Waterford's chances of progressing from the round-robin and also ends All-Ireland champions Tipperary's reign.

Dublin have successfully defended their Leinster Senior Ladies Football title.

Goals late in the game from Niamh Crowley and Caoimhe O’Connor sealed a 2-12 to 2-6 win over Kildare at Croke Park.

Golf

Rory McIlroy has picked up an early birdie to move to four-under-par after the first two holes of his final round at golf's PGA Championship.

Alex Smalley remains the man to catch on the last day of the second major of the season - he's on six-under.

Padraig Harrington is one-over through 12 holes, with Shane Lowry finishing today on two-over-par.

Soccer

West Ham have lost 3-1 at Newcastle in a big blow to their hopes of avoiding Premier League relegation.

It means a Tottenham win at Chelsea on Tuesday would send them down.

Brentford remain in with a chance of qualifying for Europe after scoring a late goal to draw 2-2 against Crystal Palace.

Sunderland's 3-1 victory at Everton also keeps them in the hunt for continental football.

But Brighton's bid took a blow, as they conceded deep into injury time in a 1-0 defeat at Leeds.

Manchester United were 3-2 winners against Nottingham Forest earlier, while Wolves held Fulham 1-1.

Rugby

Ireland captain Erin King says it's "hard to put it into words" how much it meant to overcome Scotland in the Six Nations at the Aviva Stadium.

A record crowd of more than 30,000 watched on as Scott Bemand's team ran in eight tries in winning by 54 points to 5.

World champions England sealed a fifth successive Grand Slam with a 43-28 victory over their title rivals France this evening.
