Six year wait at an end as Mayo League finals return
Mayo's Grade H badminton team who competed in the Connacht inter-counties. This week the Mayo Finals will be played in Crossmolina.
Badminton returns to centre stage in Mayo this week as the Grade H League Finals take place on Wednesday, April 8 in Crossmolina GAA Hall, marking the return of the league for the first time since 2020.
The league has been a great success to date, with strong participation from clubs across the county who will compete in both the men’s and ladies league finals along with the plate finals, as teams look to finish the season on a high.
The finals mark the culmination of a competitive league campaign with players representing their clubs throughout the winter months.
Doors will open at 7:30pm, with matches beginning at 8pm.
The event is open to the public and Mayo Badminton Association is encouraging anyone with an interest in the sport to come along and enjoy the occasion.
