Playing from a slope with the ball above your feet

Unfortunately, it is uncommon to get a perfectly flat lie on the golf course. Today we are looking at how to play the shot when the ball is above your feet. Once again, to make it easier, I have broken it into 4 key points.
1. Get set before you swing. When the ball is above or below your feet make sure you set yourself in a solid address position before you swing. This may mean moving in closer to the ball, standing taller and gripping down on the club.
2. Make sure you are fully balanced before commencing the swing. Have some practice swings away from the golf ball with the focus on a solid posture before you attempt the real shot.

3. The number one objective with any shot is to make solid contact with the ball. This is more difficult with these shots. During the swing maintain your posture by keeping your head still and your legs quiet. To have too much leg action or too much head movement will cause us to mishit the ball.
4. Know what to expect from the ball flight and allow for that. When the ball is above your feet the ball tends to curve to the left for a right-handed golfer and to the right for a left-handed golfer. Make sure you adjust your aim accordingly.

I hope these pointers help. Get out there and try it.
