Tooreen and Westport claim Mayo junior hurling titles

Hurling was centre stage in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park this afternoon as the Connacht Gold Mayo Junior A and B Finals were decided
The B Final saw Westport put on an attacking masterclass as they defeated Ballina Stephenites to win the Junior B final, and the Tom Earley Perpetual Cup, on a scoreline of 3-18 to 2-13.
Meanwhile, Tooreen B retained the Junior A title after a storming second half saw them blow Moytura away 4-18 to 0-16 to win the Ciarna Byrne Memorial Cup.
