Three-time All-Ireland winner joins Sligo management team

There has been more changes to the Sligo management team ahead of 2027.

A three-time All-Ireland winner with Tyrone will be part of Sligo's management team ahead of the 2027 season.

Ryan McMenamin won Sam Maguire with Tyrone as a player in 2003, 2005, and 2008, as he will replace Eamon McGee in the backroom team.

McGee had been part of Dessie Sloyan and Eamonn O'Hara's backroom team for the 2026 campaign but was unable to commit for the upcoming year.

McMenamin has previously managed Fermanagh between 2019 and 2021.

He links up with his former inter-county team-mate Joe McMahon, with whom he won All-Ireland titles as a player in 2005 and 2008.

There has already been change to the Sligo management team for the 2027 season, with the joint-managerial arrangement between Dessie Sloyan and Eamonn O'Hara being tweaked, the former taking the role of manager and the latter being named as assistant manager.
