'Sadly missed' - Mayo GAA pays tribute to Ballina native following passing

Mayo GAA have paid tribute to a Ballina woman following her passing.
In a statement, they said, "Mayo GAA are saddened to hear of the passing of Marian Browne (née Hanley) of Convent Hill Crescent, Ballina Co. Mayo.
"Marian was a former secretary for Ballina Stephenites and was well known in GAA circles. She will be sadly missed by her club."
Marian's remains will repose at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Thursday evening 6th of November from 5:30pm, with removal at 7:30pm to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.
Requiem Mass will take place on Friday morning 7th of November at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
