Mayo County Board have confirmed the fixture details of the county junior and intermediate football championship finals, both of which have to be replayed following a dramatic weekend of action at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
The Castlebar venue will again play host to the meetings of Bonniconlon and Cill Chomáin, and Crossmolina Deel Rovers and Moy Davitts, who could not be separated over the course of two action-packed days at the county ground.
This time, however, the junior and intermediate finals will form a double header, with the ties to take place next Saturday, November 2 at 3.30pm and 6pm respectively.
Bonniconlon and Cill Chomáin drew last Saturday’s junior final after the former, despite reduced to 14 players, kicked the last three points of the game. 24 hours later, Moy Davitts were also a man down when fighting from five points behind to pull level with Crossmolina in deepest stoppage time.
A referee for the junior final is yet to be confirmed, however, Garryowen McMahon has been appointed to take charge of the rematch between Crossmolina and Moy Davitts.
