'Remarkable journey' - Mayo GAA club commends former player ahead of landmark moment

Oisín Mullin will line out for his 50th AFL game with the Geelong Cats against Port Adelaide this weekend - marking an incredible achievement on the world stage.
His Mayo GAA club, Kilmaine GAA, paid tribute to the achievement, saying: "From the fields of Kilmaine to the elite level of the Australian Football League, Oisín’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
"A former standout for Kilmaine and Mayo, he has shown unbelievable dedication, courage, and adaptability in making the switch to AFL, and to reach 50 senior games in such a competitive environment speaks volumes about his character and work ethic.
"He continues to represent his family, his club, and his community with immense pride every time he pulls on the Geelong jersey.
"Everyone in Kilmaine GAA is hugely proud of you, Oisín. Best of luck this weekend, here’s to many more ahead!"
