The referees for all four of next weekend’s Mayo GAA football championship finals have been announced.

Sunday’s senior final (4.15pm) between Ballina Stephenites and Breaffy, who are seeking to win the Moclair Cup for the first time, will be officiated by Garryowen McMahon. The appointment comes exactly 10 years after McMahon took charge of the Dublin SFC final between St Vincent’s and Ballymun Kickhams after which he moved west and became a club member of Davitts GAA.

Paul Lydon of Kiltimagh has been handed control of Saturday’s county intermediate final (4pm) between Ballinrobe and Kilmeena while Islandeady’s Shane Corcoran is in the middle for Sunday’s junior final (2.30pm) between Lahardane MacHales and Shrule/Glencorrib.

While those three matches will all be played in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, the county junior ‘B’ final goes ahead in Parke on Sunday (12pm). That clash of Achill and Ballycastle will be refereed by Eamon McAndrew.
