Mayo manager Liam McHale has named his starting team for Sunday's (2pm) Lidl LGFA National Football League round 3 clash against Dublin at James Stephens Park, Ballina.

McHale makes one change to the side that defeated Galway last time out as Claremorris forward Alana Fitzpatrick replaces MacHale Rovers star Sinéad Walsh at centre half-forward.

Mayo lost out on the opening day to Meath but bounced back with a vital win against Galway last weekend.

The Westerners narrowly avoided the drop last year but they’ll need to keep picking up points to avoid similar worries this time.

Opponents Dublin have a greater need to get off the mark after losing their opening two matches.

Moy Davitts custodian Lisa Reid retains her place in goal, while Burrishoole's Lucy Wallace, and Westport duo Nicola O'Malley and Saoirse Lally make up the full-back line, with the latter captaining the side.

Castlebar Mitchels pair Kathryn Sullivan and Danielle Caldwell join Hollymount's Jenna Mortimer are in the half-back line.

Westport's Aoife Geraghty and Knockmore's Hannah Reape are in midfield, while Westport's Fionnuala McLaughlin, Fitzpatrick, and Burrishoole ace Maria Cannon play in the half-forward line.

Tge the inside line of Louisburgh's Tara Needham, Carnacon's Fiona McHale and Kilmovee Shamrocks' Lisa Cafferky will be looking to provide firepower.

The match will be shown on StreamSport.ie, the LGFA's new live-streaming partner.
