McDonald set for championship debut as Moran names Mayo side for Connacht semi-final

Kobe McDonald is set to make his senior championship debut in this Sunday’s Connacht SFC semi-final against Roscommon having been named to start by Andy Moran.

The Mayo senior football manager has made four changes in total following the quarter-final victory over London a fortnight ago. McDonald, as well as Enda Hession, Conor Loftus and Jordan Flynn all come into the side.

McDonald’s U20 teammate Darragh Beirne is named among the substitutes, with both men expected to feature in next Wednesday’s Connacht U20 final which is also against Roscommon.

Throw-in at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park is scheduled for 4pm.
