Mayo v Kerry: Proposal for livestream of All-Ireland final at Mayo location

Cllr Blackie Gavin has called on Mayo County Council to put a plan in place to livestream the All-Ireland Mayo v Kerry Final taking place on Sunday, July 26th.
At today's meeting of the council, he asked for a family event to be held to enjoy the match on The Mall in Castlebar, saying: “A lot of young kids won’t be able to get tickets, and it would be a wonderful event for everyone. Good luck to the Mayo team.”
The proposal was seconded by Cllr Ger Deere, who said it will be a great occasion and should be marked by Mayo County Council as it has been done by other councils over the years.
