Mayo County Council are calling on Mayo and Dublin supporters who will be travelling in their thousands on Sunday to their eagerly anticipated National Football League game in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, to arrive safely and to park in designated car parks or parking spaces on the day.
Parking around Hastings Insurance MacHale Park is limited, and there will be no public parking in the An Sportlann car park.
Patrons are advised to arrive early and obey all Gardaí instructions and stewards on duty inside and outside the grounds. All supporters are asked to obey all byelaws and show consideration for local residents when parking.
ð We have another big game on Sunday as we face @DubGAAOfficial in @HastMacHalePark at 1.30pm.

Parking by supporters along the N5 is not recommended for health and safety reasons. There will be ample car-parking spaces for supporters within the environs of Castlebar itself.
Mayo County Council would advise all fans who are attending the game to avail of car parking spaces available in Castlebar town centre.
Supporters are also encouraged to consider using public transport to attend the game, with Castlebar Train Station a short walk from Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, and bus stops located at Stephen Garvey Way in the town centre.
For those travelling to the game by road, please check ahead on any potential roadworks or diversions on www.mayo.ie/traffic-management/road-works and follow their social media channels.
Mayo County Council added that they warmly welcome all the supporters coming to Castlebar for the big game and encourage everyone to enjoy this historic day in the town.
